MicronAir In-Cabin Filter
Most cars nowadays come with in-cabin filters. The G is no exception. There are two kinds of filters available to our cars, a carbon-activated filter that contains carbon (!) to absorb unwanted odors, and a plain paper filter that just filters out the elements without neutralizing odors. To date, most would just source this from the dealership. Here’s an alternative.
The MicronAir In-Cabin Filter (link), there should be two kinds listed on the page:
- NN00161P - Plain filter
- NN00161C - Carbon-activated filter
Here are some photos of the product, it also comes with a generic installation sheet (this one for the Altima). I have a set of instructions for doing it on the G, here. As of this writing, one of the “C” filters can be had for $34 shipped, or about half what it would cost at the dealership.
