First off, a disclaimer, there’s nothing scientific about this. I’m merely sharing observations on the impact certain “mods” have on fuel economy. I’ve been looking high and low for a relatively affordable low-profile jack to lift the G, especially the front end, without having to drive up a ramp first. Also, being able to lift higher than 14″ is a bonus. (Something most affordable 2+ ton low-profile jacks are limited to) Just a short video of a run at MSR Houston during the 2nd Annual Texas Z Party. Some photos and a couple videos of the Injen SRI There’s always that allure of retrofitting the Akebono brakes from the G37 Sport onto prior year sedans. And the first question that comes to the mind of many is, “Will it fit over my Sport rims?” For the DIY and Gear heads amongst us, here are downloadable archives of the Factory Service Manuals for various years of the G Sedan and Coupe. If you’ve ever wondered what the part numbers were for the G37 Sport Big Brake Kit (Akebono’s) so you could get hold of them yourselves, wonder no more! Yes, the Nurburgring for those who are so inclined. |
