I’ve been looking high and low for a relatively affordable low-profile jack to lift the G, especially the front end, without having to drive up a ramp first. Also, being able to lift higher than 14″ is a bonus. (Something most affordable 2+ ton low-profile jacks are limited to)

In-cabin filters help clean the air that goes in to your vehicle. Some cabin filters like the one i reviewed here (and used below) is also Carbon-activated, which means it also absorbs and helps reduce odor inside the cabin. With the filter in hand, and 30 minutes of your time (at the very most), you can install this and save yourself about half the cost of what it would to have the dealership do it. There are two kinds of filters available to our cars, a carbon-activated filter that contains carbon (!) to absorb unwanted odors, and a plain paper filter that just filters out the elements without neutralizing odors. To date, most would just source this from the dealership. Here’s an alternative. A grounding kit basically does just that, it improves the grounding on your vehicles electronic system. There are some benefits to be had, and in these days of ECU’s and ICE (In-Car-Electronics) it makes sense that improving on the grounds will help optimize these systems. Here’s a simple how-to on installing a kit from one of the premiere suppliers of grounding kits for the G. I’m not a rocket scientist, an engineer nor a physics major. But i am rather particular and usually notice minute changes in certain behaviours… whether we’re talking about cars, animals, environments or people in general. Here’s my take on it.
