For a while now i’ve wanted to try out a nice OBD scanner but never got around to pulling the trigger, until recently when i had the pleasure of getting hold of a PLK Kiwi OBD Bluetooth Scanner and the much reviewed Torque OBD App for Android-based phones.

Since we replaced the front bumper a while back, we never really had a chance to put the front plates back on. We finally tackle it here using Skene Design’s simple approach to a bracket that can easily be removed if you need to for show purposes. There are many ways to replace the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) in your G35, the service manual recommends a complete flush and refill, however as temperature sensitive as ATF is (Infiniti recommends verifying temps using CONSULT II) it may not be as easy for some to do. Here we’ll try a different approach. Replacing the power steering fluid on our vehicles is not technically a procedure recommended by Nissan/Infiniti, in fact the only mention of it in the FSM or owner’s manual is how to check the condition and level in the reservoir. However, we’ll change ours anyway… With warranty out of the way, i decided to tackle this simple procedure myself. This is probably one of the easiest fluid changes in the G. You’ll need a few things… This is a two-part series about installing the Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar for the G35 and G37. I think the same instructions would likely apply to the 350z and 370z as well, given it’s similarities. Let’s get started.
